![]() ![]() I would be such a happy man if I were to see this actually happen and give my kids the chance to live through what I did when I was their age.įFT is my favorite game ever. Cid himself, than shooting an arrow into an enemy and the camera panning over to them to watch a bolt of lightning strike them from the heavens for even more damage. nothing gave me more joy in this game, aside from being a legitimate spellsword with the different swordplay skills that we first saw from Agrias and later from Gaffgarion and even later from none other than T.G. Some of the things that just struck me as awe-inspiring were the weapons that had the potential to cast certain spells as weapon procs. I committed so many hours playing this game since it released, and it has consistently stayed my all-time favorite video game not only for the storyline, but also it's replayability, the job system, and the mechanics behind how combat works. Additionally, as I am grown now, nothing would make me more happy than to introduce my sons into gaming the same way I was - via this masterpiece of a video game, remastered. ![]() If any game were to be made into a short television series, FFT would hands down be my pick. ![]() The storyline was so immersive, and had some of the absolute best plot twists you could imagine. As a young child, FFT was my first real game. I will be one of the happiest people on the planet if this is a thing, and it gets released sometime soon. I mean, my username is in my email address lol.Īnyway, last time, when I playtested Tomb Raider, they leaked themselves a week later when an employee opened his mails on the subway lolĪlso, I only played Ogre Battle 64. IF I leaked some info, I would probably create a new account to be safe. IF I get picked, well, I'll have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, I don't know if I would risk it lol. Also, if they call and I miss it, they'll take the next one, the places are limited and not hard to fill. So yeah, there's no guarantee I'll be picked. Here I think they want people who know tacticals and FF Tactics specifically. Sometimes they need people who know the series (I was chosen for Shadow of the Tomb Raider because of my prior knowledge of the previous games), and sometimes they need more casual players. It's an invitation, sent to everybody who's subscribed to their playtest invitations you answer questions about your availability, and the types of games you play, etc. I mean, it's kind of crazy that they even asked about Ogre Battle, which didn't get a new game for the last 20 years.Īnyway, this is not a leak per se, and there's no concrete proof, this is all deduction, but this cannot be a coincidence lol. Here's a screenshot of every game they asked about :Īs you can see, this is not very subtle, and I presume they want to playtest it with people accustomed to that kind of game, which I am, so I'm crossing my fingers lol. They also asked if I played FF Tactics PS1 AND if I played the iOS/Android version, which seemed weird, they never ask about multiple versions of the same game. the only non-tactical FF games that take place in Ivalice. At first, I thought this was about Triangle Strategy, but while they didn't ask if I played Octopath, they did ask if I played FF12 and it's DS sequel. They were asking if I played Fire Emblem, FF Tactics, Ogre Battle, Disgaea, Into the Breach, etc. You don't know me, but I'm too excited about my find and I wanted to share it with people who're gonna be as excited as I am.Ī month ago, I think, the Nvidia leak showed that there was a FF Tactics Remaster being made I didn't even know, just found out while searching for news regarding FF Tactics, because I just received an Eidos-Montreal playtest invitation (which also playtests Square Enix games in general), and everything seems to indicate they're playtesting a tactical. ![]()
